Where Land, Capital, and Stewardship align
We co-invest in farmland with regenerative farmers through shared ownership, aligning capital, land, and the people who work it.

The way farmland works today is broken.
Farmers work the land but rarely own it. Investors own the land but never touch it. The people who create value and the people who capture it are completely disconnected.
The result? Short-term thinking. Depleted soils. A system that extracts instead of restores.
But there is another way.

Regenerative agriculture
is a way of farming that restores instead of depletes, rebuilding soil health, increasing biodiversity, and creating resilient ecosystems. It focuses on long-term value, not short-term yield.
The transition is possible. But it takes time and time is exactly what today's financial structures don't offer.
That's why ORON exists.
How we work
One model. Three principles.
Shared Ownership
Farmers and investors co-own the land together. From day one, the farmer holds a stake and can grow it over time.

Patient Capital
No short-term pressure. Our structure gives farmers the time and financial breathing room to make the transition to regenerative practices.

Aligned value
When the people who work the land also own it, incentives align. Better stewardship. Stronger long-term value. For everyone involved.

For Farmers
Grow your farm. Own your land.
Access patient capital to expand, acquire, or transition on your terms. Become co-owner from day one. Grow your share over time. Stay fully independent.
You work the land. With ORON, you also own the value you create on it.
For Investors
Invest in land that works.
Access farmland, one of the scarcest, most inflation-resistant asset classes, through a structured, long-term model. No operational involvement. Full professional management.
The people who manage the land also own it. That alignment is what creates durable value.
The people behind ORON
Built by people who believe in the land

Founder
Elodie Vanden Avenne
Elodie combines a background in investments and strategy with a long-term vision for land stewardship and regenerative agriculture. Before founding ORON, she worked in real estate-backed lending and growth strategy consulting at Simon-Kucher.
She founded ORON from the conviction that farmers are key to accelerating the transition toward more resilient agricultural systems, but that the missing link is aligned long-term capital that truly empowers them. Through ORON, she focuses on creating shared ownership structures that reconnect land, capital, and stewardship for the long term.

Our Vision
We are building toward a farming system where capital, land, and farmers are realigned.
Where regenerative agriculture is the norm. Where farmers own the value they create. And where investing in land means investing in its long-term health not extracting from it.
THIS IS WHAT ORON IS BUILDING.
And it starts with a conversation.
